Hessed Porras is a multimedia artist based in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 17, he studied at the University of Santa Cruz to pursue a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in music. After 8 years of working in the Neuroscience field, Hessed was always fascinated with the connection between art and the mind. This was a turning point for him and decided to pursue visual arts in relation to music and specifically the emotional experience that people have when going to a live event. Hessed made it his mission to connect with artists to properly express their spirit through the lens of his art.

Hessed works mainly with 2D/3D animations, through programs such as After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4d and Blender. This opened up new opportunities for collaboration with local/touring musicians, and Media Production Agencies(Amazon, Apple TV). Today, Hessed's work is featured in shows and tours globally, showcasing collaborations with renowned artists such as M.I.A., Ice Spice, Will Smith, Lola Young, Tasha Sultana, Balthvs, and Kiefer. He's also VJ'd and displayed his animations in festivals such as Coachella(CA), Outside Lands(SF), Portola(SF), Lighting in a Bottle(CA), New York Winter Jazz Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival.
